An electrically controlled valve called solenoid valve that features a solenoid, an electric coil with a movable ferromagnetic core in the centre. The plunger closes off a small orifice when it is in the rest position. When electric current passes the coil, magnetic field is created. This magnetic field results in upwards force on the plunger that opens the orifice. Industrial solenoid valve opens and closes via this basic principle. The Brahma solenoid valve enables regulation of clean liquids and gases. Indirect operated valves need a pressure differential for their functioning. This valve can be used for connecting to more than two inlets/outlets for closing, opening, blending and distributing media.
